Did your family love to go kiting when you were little?

I remember my father once said I’m his kite. The higher he wanted me to soar, the more string he would eventually need to let go. I could fly as high as I wanted and would never need to be afraid of losing my way or falling since there will always be a part of me tied to my family since he would be sure to hold onto the handle. He will always be the one who tugs my heartstrings, literally and figuratively.
