Thanksgiving is frequently seen as the start of the holiday season. Particularly in retail terms, Black Friday constitutes the official countdown to the festivities. It's a day for reminiscing on our lives and being grateful for the good that resides in them. It's also a day for consuming excessive amounts of fabulous foods with the turkey frequently being the centre piece of a table.
